Aspiring multilinguists, QCPL is offering free Japanese lessons | via scoutmagph
The self-improvement agenda is in full swing, kids. If you’re all about learning during this time of your life , then the Quezon City Public Library is your friend.
Education consultancy company Jellyfish Education Philippines and the QCPL are currently offering basic Japanese language classes, like what they did inincluding 2022—which, according to them, garnered 16,000 sign-ups. Don’t worry, sessions will be held via Zoom and are free of charge. If you’re at least 18 years old, have a gadget with a stable internet connection, and a Zoom account, then you can register for a session. The first one will start on Apr. 17 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., while the other remaining sessions are scattered throughout the year until December. Do note, though, that they are on a first-come, first-served basis, and only the first 500 successful registrants will be accepted per class.
You’ll receive a confirmation email if you make the cut, and have to confirm your slot within 24 hours. Otherwise, your slot will be offered to other applicants. Once finalized, use your official name on Zoom to be recognized properly by the class moderator. At the end of it, you get a digital certificate making your participation tangible, plus a new skill: The ability to consume Japanese media better? An achievement Duo will be proud of? The possibilities are endless.
