Over 30 private and business groups are appealing to the Office of the Ombudsman to work with the Anti-Red Tape Authority to improve government services.
With this, the group said the Ombudsman and ARTA “complement each other’s functions, hence, both should be working together.” At a recent Senate hearing on ARTA’s proposed P266-million budget for next year, Senate President Juan Miguel F. Zubiri said, “It pains me to see that there are still agencies that are giving this law a difficult time.”
