A man allegedly linked to a drug group in Negros Occidental was arrested as authorities found 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000 in his possession during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 6, Kabankalan City on Friday, Feb. 24.
BACOLOD CITY – A man allegedly linked to a drug group in Negros Occidental was arrested as authorities found 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000 in his possession during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 6, Kabankalan City on Friday, Feb. 24.
Police identified the subject as Rennel Dayuday, 26, of Barangay 6, a butcher. According to the police, Dayuday is a high value individual. Major Jerald Muya, chief of Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit , said the suspect was allegedly caught repacking the illegal drugs during the operation.However, he failed to undergo the Community-based Rehabilitation Program as he allegedly did not submit himself to a drug test, Muya added.
