Despite their small sizes, mini PCs can be powerhouses in compact form. Among them is the Mac mini, a macOS-based mini PC powered by Apple's M-series SoCs. The company unveiled its M2-powered model earlier this year, but a successor could already be in development.

Higher-end models tend to feature more CPU and GPU cores. For example, the Mac Studio launched in June 2023 features the Apple M2 SoC. There are two variants of this chip, the M2 Max and M2 Ultra, with the latter packing a 24-core CPU, 60-core GPU, and 64GB of RAM.
