The shrine rector of the International Shrine of the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, also known as the Antipolo Cathedral, urged the faithful to pray for the safety of the country’s policemen as they continue to perform their duty of protecting the citizenry.
In a recorded message on the Facebook page of the Antipolo Cathedral, Fr. Reynante Tolentino lauded the KASIMBAYANAN, a revitalized program launched by Philippine National Police Chief General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. that bridges the PNP, the general public, faith-based organizations, and key stakeholders towards peaceful, safe, and protected communities.
Tolentino said seeing uniformed policemen attending church activities means that the people are secured and safe in the cathedral. ,” Tolentino said.
Baras Chief of police, Capt. Junard Briones, also enjoined the community in supporting the KASIMBAYANAN programs of Azurin.
