The Prime Minister has delivered a powerful speech to mark the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine while announcing additional Australian support.
“They live under constant pressure: air raids, atrocities committed by the Russian forces in Ukraine and yet they have stood tall.
Mr Albanese then praised the leadership of President Volodymyr Zelensky and announced further funding to support the war effort. The operation was established to help Ukrainian soldiers learn and enhance basic infantry tactics for urban and wooded environments. “We’ve announced additional sanctions against those people and companies who are involved in the Russian war machine," Mr Albanese said.
