ANOTHER suspect in the killing of Negros Oriental Gov.
Roel Degamo was arrested on Sunday, the Philippine National Police reported Monday.The PNP identified him as Osmundo Rivero, a native of Zamboanga City.
Rivero was arrested by joint forces of the PNP and the Philippine Army in Bayawan City at a house he was renting, where high powered firearms and ammunition were found.He did not resist arrest.Rivero was also a former member of the Philippine Army who later became a taxi driver.Authorities earlier arrested three suspects in the daring attack that left eight others dead.Another suspect was killed Saturday night by police operatives during hot pursuit operations.
