The Philippine consulate in Dublin, Ireland, on Friday expressed its condolences to the family of the second Filipino in Ireland to die from the novel coronavirus disease.

The consulate said Miguel Plangca, a 55-year-old widowed father of five who lived in Naas, County Kildare, passed away after battling the virus for 41

days in intensive care.A native of Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental, Plangca worked for 20 years with the frozen pizza company Green Isle Foods, now Birds Eye.
