The six grand winners of the inaugural Ambassador and Ambassadress of the World Philippines pageant-modelling competition were crowned in Makati City Saturday night.
PAGEANT WINNERS – Filipino-Palestinian Hisam Hit is named Ambassador of the World Philippines while Christine Julianne Opiaza is crowned Ambassadress of the World Philippines.
“I cried because I really worked hard for this. This is the result of my sacrifices during the past months. Last year, I was only a runner-up in another competition but now I am a winner,” said Hisam, in an exclusive interview after the contest. He finished third in Sexy Body 2018. Opiaza, on the other hand, has already earned national pageant titles such as Slimmers World Miss Bikini Philippines in 2016 and Miss Econest Philippines 2018. She also represented the country in Korea for Miss Global Beauty Queen where she landed as a semi-finalist and bagged the Best in Catwalk.
Hisam and Avila were adjudged Darlings of the Press during press presentation held at Robinson’s Magnolia prior to the finals.
