Hawak-hawak pa niya ang pares ng tsinelas ng kanyang girlfriend.
Kuwento niya, galing silang Valenzuela at patungo sa Quezon Memorial Circle nang mangyari ang aksidente. “Nandoon na po kami sa tapat ng Circle. Liliko na lang po sana kami. Hindi po nagdahan-dahan 'yung truck sa likod. Nakita naman po. Malayo pa lang po, naka-signal light na ako eh,” sabi ng rider.“Biglang sumulpot siya. Ang tulin. Binusinahan ko na siya nang husto. Tuloy-tuloy pa rin siya. Hindi siya nag-respond. Umiwas ako eh. Tumama pa nga ako sa gutter. Iniwas ko ito,” giit ng driver ng oil tanker.
