ANGELES CITY––The city government vaccinated Monday at least 1,335 persons deprived of liberty at the Angeles District Jail. In a statement, the city government said a mobile bus clinic was dispatched to the district jail managed by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology to administer the first dose of the vaccine against COVID-19 to the PDLs under the “Ronda Bakuna” program.Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said vaccinating the PDLs would minimize the spread of COVID-19 in the jail facility.

Business Permit and Licensing Division chief Evangeline Malonzo, ground commander of the mobile bus clinic, said the mayor had instructed her team to vaccinate PDLs from this city and other areas.
