ANCHOR Land Holdings Inc. is securing its foothold in the country’s competitive tourism industry by further expanding its hotel portfolio and going into the serviced residences sector.

Copetown Baysuites, seen in this artist’s rendition, will feature serviced residences under the Savea Residences brand, which will be launched in August during Anchor Land Holdings Inc.’s 20th anniversary.

She said the serviced residences sector is just starting to grow, “and we saw a big opportunity to be there. Soon you will see other developers going to the same direction, so we wanted to be there as early as now, and establish own brand right now. These are titled properties and will get a good revenue share.”

Meanwhile, she said, “The first hotel under the Admiral Hospitality Group is Copetown Baysuites. We’re going to have three towers, but it will be hybrid. We’re going to develop our first condotel , five floors, 140 rooms,” Copetown Baysuites is along Macapagal Ave. in Parañaque. Another condotel will be across Roxas Boulevard, “already in the planning stage,” she said, and located at The Panorama. “It will be 550 rooms out of a 1,000-room condominium development. The units sell for at least P50 million to P100 million per unit.”The serviced residence in Boracay Island will have 500 to 600 rooms on a 2-hectare property “focused on wellness,” and located at Station 3, a site known for lower-priced resorts.
