FORMER world champion Jerwin “Pretty Boy” Ancajas of Panabo City showcased his superior power and skill as he stopped Richie “Magnum” Mepranum of
Sarangani via a second-round knockout to claim the vacant Philippine super bantamweight title in a card held over the weekend at the Public Plaza in Iligan City.
With the win, Ancajas improved his record to 36 wins, including 24 knockouts, four losses, and two draws. In the co-main event, Samuel “Silent Assassin” Salva of Gingoog City achieved a second-round technical knockout victory over Eldin Guinahon of Misamis Oriental, adding more excitement to the night.
