Leonor 'Leni' Robredo, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), said de Lima's release was widely anticipated. 'The allegations hurled against her have been proven to be baseless.
All the abuses that she experienced over the past seven years were the result of her daring to stand up for what is right for our countrymen,' Robredo wrote in Filipino.
