Medical findings have shown that dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo is suffering from lung infection, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology said on Monday.“Kaya lang po doon sa medical na iinigay ng , sa X-ray ay findings po na possible lung infection,” BJMP spokesperson Jail Superintendent Jayrex Joseph Bustinera told Super Radyo dzBB in an interview.Due to this, Guo will stay in a cell where three inmates suffering from tuberculosis are isolated.
“Sabi naman po ng doctor namin almost one month nang naggagamutan yung mga naka-isolate doon sa TB kaya doon po muna siya ihahalo para to protect din yung general population,” he added.Initially, Guo was set to be transferred to a detention facility with 44 inmates in the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory.From the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City, Guo was transferred to the Pasig City Jail at 9:14 a.m. Monday. Her convoy exited the detention facility in Camp Crame at 8:49 a.m.
