Alert Level 2 in Metro Manila possible with decline in COVID19 cases: DILG

MANILA— An official of the Department of the Interior and Local Government on Saturday said Metro Manila may further ease lockdown restrictions if COVID-19 cases continue to go down.

“'Yung health care utilization rate ng National Capital Region less than 50 percent na lang. 'Yung ICU bed, less than 60 percent, halos nandoon na siya sa low risk, moderate risk level at ang kadahilanan nito ay ang bakuna,” said Densing. “Kaya kung magdidisiplina tayo lahat at hindi na kumalat 'yung COVID-19 at bakunado tayong lahat, mag-iimprove ang ating health care capacity, baka hindi malayo ang posibilidad na mag-alert level 2,” he said.
