Attorney-General Michaelia Cash has hit out at Labor’s past record in Western Australia, claiming they are “no friends” of the state.
The comments come ahead of the Labor Party’s launch in Perth, after Mr Albanese spent the week isolating with COVID-19 in Sydney.
“The mere fact that you’ve touched down on Western Australian soil, does not mean that you support Western Australia,” Ms Cash told Sky News Australia.
