Anthony Albanese was interrupted by climate activists demanding no new coal projects be approved, just a day after he called for “a little bit more respect” when talking about the Voice to Parliament.
During a question and answer on Thursday at the Woodford Folk Festival, Mr Albanese was asked if he will commit to not supporting new gas and coal projects, to a loud applause from the audience.

“There hasn’t been a new coal-fired power station built under the Abbott government, under the Turnbull government, under the Morrison government,” he fired back. The incident at the festival on Thursday was not the first time the Prime Minister was interrupted at the event.
