League second leg at the UNY Sports Complex in Yogyakarta, Indonesia Sunday, August 25. Alas finished with a 1-2 slate just like it did in the first leg in Manila where its lone win came at the expense of Vietnam as well.
Michaelo Buddin and Louie Ramirez fired 24 and 19 points, respectively, to lead Alas while Jade Disquitado added 16 and Kim Malabunga chipped n 11.Alas men thus replicated its counterpart from the women's side which also snared back-to-back bronzes.Meanwhile, Thailand emerged champion once more after sweeping the second leg at 3-0 just like it did in the first.
