MANILA, Philippines — Magkakasa ng serye ng "collective fishing" ang grupong PAMALAKAYA sa baybayin ng Zambales bilang protesta sa unilateral ban na ipinatutupad ng Tsina sa South China Sea at ilang bahagi ng West Philippine Sea .ang Tsina sa mga naturang lugar mula Mayo hanggang ika-16 ng Setyembre. Ito'y kahit nasa exclusive economic zone ng Maynila ang West Philippine Sea .
"Magiging mapagbantay din kami sa anumang reaksyon ng China Coast Guard habang nagsasagawa kami ng kolektibong pangingisda." Binanggit ito ni Hicap matapos makakuha ng mga ulat na tutol din ng mga mangingisda ng Masinloc sa nangyaring Balikatan exercise sa lugar na siyang nilahukan ng mga tropang Amerikano.
Kamakailan lang nang sabihin ng Philippine Navy na maaaring mangisda sa territorial waters ang mga Pilipino, ito habang tinitiyak ang kanilang proteksyon.
