AJ Edu and Dwight Ramos are in the Gilas Pilipinas training camp in Laguna ahead of their series of friendly matches in Doha.The Doha friendlies are part of the national team's preparation for the February window of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers and the FIBA Asia Cup in August.The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas shared photos from the camp which started Tuesday."Long time coming," the basketball body wrote in its post of Edu's photo in the Laguna camp on Tuesday.
Inspire Sports Academy, the national team's training venue, also shared photos of players such as Ramos, who is coming from the Japan B.League, and Troy Rosario, who has been called up recently after Kai Sotto suffered an ACL injury in Japan.Barangay Ginebra players Ralph Cu and RJ Abarrientos are also in the camp to help the national team in training.Gilas will take on Qatar, Lebanon, and Egypt in a series of friendlies in Doha.
