Tropical depression “Aghon” continues to move west, northwestward over the sea east of Mindanao yesterday afternoon, according to PAGASA.
It was moving west, northwestward at 30 km/h, packing maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h, the weather bureau said. “Aghon” is forecast to move generally west, northwestward to northwestward from upto today while slowly intensifying, PAGASA said. Afterwards, Aghon is forecast to pass north, northwestward through the coast of Northern Samar, then may possibly make another landfall tonight over the southeastern portion of Bicol region as a tropical storm.
