Tropical Depression Aghon caused waist-deep flooding in several areas in the Eastern Visayas and knocked down trees in the Bicol Region.According to a Saturday 24 Oras Weekend report by GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak's Fe Marie Dumaboc, Aghon initially made landfall over Humonhon Island in Guian, Eastern Samar before making landfall again over Giporlos around midnight on Saturday.
Fortunately, the flooding quickly subsided at around 7:30 a.m.Meanwhile, a 24 Oras Weekend report by GMA Regional TV Balitang Bicolandia's Jessica Calinog said that parts of the Bicol Region were experiencing intermittent rains caused by Aghon.In Masbate City, strong winds caused a mango tree to fall on the house of Cerino Badilla while his family and two grandchildren were inside.Fortunately, no one was harmed in the incident.
