ACEN Corp. said Monday its international unit and partners will invest in a wind power project in Texas.
“Such acquisition and investment are intended to be made by UPC Power Solutions LLC, the existing US joint venture company of ACEN USA LCC, PivotGen, and UPC Wind and Solar Investments, LLC ,” ACEN said in a disclosure. ACEN has already surpassed its goal of reaching 5 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity by 2025, almost two years ahead of schedule. Of this capacity, 65 percent is now fully operational. At end-March, ACEN recorded around 4.8GW in attributable renewables capacity.
