MODEL PIG FARM IN THE OFFING. Two farmer groups and a government-run school in San Mateo, Isabela are awarded a P10 million hog demo-farm facility to revive and boost the swine industry in the province. Jessica M. BacudSAN Mateo, Isabela – Hog raisers and stakeholders foresee a remarkable growth in the province’s swine industry with the forging of an agreement creating a “30-sow level techno-demo farm under the Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion program.

Dr. Claris Marayag-Alaska, director of the ATI-RTC 02, highlighted the purpose of the INSPIRE initiative. San Guillermo Mayor Felipe Guyud Jr. expressed gratitude for the project granted to the San Francisco Norte Women’s Organization in his town.
