Mapoy, in his interpellation by Castro, said the corporation paid P15,382,423,364.16 worth of taxes between 2016 and 2019. Asked by the lady solon to assess its performance as a taxpayer, Mapoy said, “I think the ranking of ABS-CBN speaks for itself…as far as the sales are concerned versus the tax payment, we need to collect more.”
