No less than 20 dogs have been rescued from a Pagadian City island where residents reportedly left their former pets.According to Nico Waje's report on "24 Oras," the Animal Kingdom Foundation conducted an operation on Dao Dao Island to bring food and rescue the abandoned dogs.“ heartbreaking because ang papayat ng mga aso and they approached our team immediately," AKF Executive Director Attorney Heidi Caguioa said.
The local government of Pagadian said it received no report of the incidents from the barangay.“It’s a resort na pinupuntahan naman ng mga taumbayan at doon naliligo, kaya normal may nakikita kaming aso.
