Big brother Buzz McCallister joined thousands of hosts on Airbnb by opening the doors to his family’s Chicago home as the ultimate gift this month.
This season, four fans had their dreams come true with an overnight stay in the originalhouse. While the McCallisters were away on their annual trip , four guests got the opportunity to relive their favorite scenes from the holiday classic and let their inner eight-year-olds run free for the evening without the interruption of pesky intruders.
“You may not remember me as particularly accommodating,” said Buzz, inviting the lucky guests. “But I’ve grown up, and I’d be happy to share my family home—my pizza, even—with you this holiday season. Just try not to let my tarantula, Axl, loose this time.”
