At least 92% of adult Filipinos approved of the national government's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a 2022 fourth quarter survey taken by independent group OCTA Research.

At least 92% of adult Filipinos approved of the national government's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a 2022 fourth quarter survey taken by independent group OCTA Research.

The Tugon ng Masa survey is an independent and non-commissioned poll regularly conducted by OCTA with 1,200 male and female respondents aged 18 and above who were interviewed last October 23 to 27. OCTA said that based on the survey, the approval rating increased by 10% since the last Tugon ng Masa survey conducted in March 2022.Meanwhile, OCTA said a decrease in approval rating was observed in September 2021 and February 2022 Tugon ng Masa survey results based on the analysis of the trends.

It added that these were periods when COVID-19 surges occurred, notably last August 2021 and January 2022, respectively.
