Every now and again when we engage with the public health service, we’re reminded of “just how good and how fortunate we are in Australia”, says Sky News host Cory Bernardi.

“I had one of those moments – I have to say, this – last week, indirectly, fortunately,” Mr Bernardi said. “One of my extended family had to undergo a major operation in the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Frankly it was an incredible experience for the patient and loved ones alike. “The level of professionalism and care displayed by doctors, nurses and the associated staff was simply incredible.

“I’m pleased to say the operation was a success and full kudos to the entire team at the Royal Adelaide – again it’s a reminder that we are very fortunate to live in the country we do.”
