Former Labor Minister Gary Johns says the money funding a ‘Yes’ case for Indigenous Voice to Parliament is “playing politics” and questions the arrogance of only funding one side of the campaign.

“Why are you playing politics, what arrogance leads you to think that giving money to one side of a referendum … is a charitable purpose,” Mr Johns told Sky News host Amanda Stoker.

“That money will go straight into the pockets … it’s not going to build a single house for a needy Aboriginal family.”
