A SEND-OFF ceremony for the 88th Araw ng Dabaw will take place on February 26, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Davao City Police Office Parade Ground. DCPO spokesperson Police Captain Hazel Tuazon announced that 6,380 police officers will be deployed from March 1 to 16, 2025, alongside Task Force Davao and force multipliers to ensure public safety.'This is part of our preparations to ensure a safe and orderly celebration of Araw ng Dabaw,' Tuazon said.
'Join us from March 1-16, 2025, as we celebrate 88 years of our vibrant city. Together, let’s honor our history and embrace a bright future, symbolized by the soaring eagle that represents our boundless potential,' the CTOO stated on its official Araw ng Dabaw page.The celebration kicks off on March 1 with a Misa Pasasalamat at San Pedro Cathedral, followed by the Pasiugdang Pagsaulog at Rizal Park in the evening.
