The Commission on Appointments (CA) on Tuesday approved the ad interim appointments of 50 more generals and flag officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

The AFP officials whose appointments were confirmed by the CA Committee on National Defense were the following:Toribio Adaci Jr.

“We have to retrofit our Navy with better ships. They need corvettes, they need larger ships that can be maintained at sea for longer periods of time,” he said. “We are also working at hopefully a down payment for our Air Force jets… new combat jets, as well as new equipment for our Army,” he added.
