Sault resident wins more than $100K in Sault Area Hospital Foundation's September draw; 'We're definitely looking at a Hawaiian cruise'

Sault Ste. Marie resident Linda Reid took home $107,067.50 in the Sept. 30 Sault Area Hospital Foundation 50/50 draw.

"We’re definitely looking at a Hawaiian cruise – that’s been on our bucket list since we retired 19 years ago," she said. "We’re also planning to contribute to some charities, and to give some to the kids.”On Sept. 30, Linda Reid of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. won a $107,067.50 jackpot in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation September 50/50 draw. Her lucky number was drawn electronically, and she was contacted immediately.

Linda wasn’t the only local winner in September! Congratulations are also in order for last month’s $10,000 early bird winners – who were all from the Sault Ste. Marie area! Winners included: David Elson of Goulais River on Sept. 9; Brenda Kent of Sault Ste. Marie on Sept. 16; and Susanne Kesten-Hofmann of Aweres Twp on Sept. 23.
