They were from Bulacan, Olongapo, Nueva Ecija, and Aurora and affiliated with Gabriela, Anakpawis, and Alyansa ng mga Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon in Licab, Nueva Ecija. According to authorities, their action demonstrates their choice of peace and contributes to the healing of a divided society.
