Limang magkakaibigang overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) sa Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE) nakulong matapos ireklamo ang kanilang pinost na video sa social media.
Ayon sa ulat ni Mariz Umali sa “24 Oras,” katuwaan lang raw sana ng magkakaibigan pag-upload ng video sa TikTok noong March 12, 2023. Pero ang biruan nagdala sa kanilang lima sa kulungan matapos may magreklamo raw sa kanilang ginawa.
Nagbigay ng detalye tungkol sa kaso ng mga OFW si Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Toots Ople. Samantala, ang Philippine Embassy at Labor Attache sa UAE ay nakatakdang makipag-usap sa employer ng limang OFW at gumagawa rin daw sila ng mga hakbang para sila ay madalaw.
