ILOILO CITY — Five minors were involved in the ransacking and burglary incident at the city's Public Order and Safety Management Office (Posmo), the police said on Tuesday.
ILOILO CITY — Five minors were involved in the ransacking and burglary incident at the city's Public Order and Safety Management Office , the police said on Tuesday.The Iloilo City Police Office said four of the suspects are already in the custody of the City Social Welfare and Development Office .Two of the minors are nine years old and the other two are 11 and 13, the police said.The police also said they waited for the children to finish their classes on Monday before taking action.
The incident was discovered when employees came to work on Monday morning.Police said the minors accidentally photographed themselves using a digital camera they played with inside the Posmo. The suspects left behind the camera when they fled the scene, which led to their identification.The ICPO said the minors are not part of any organized group.City Mayor Jerry Treñas commended the ICPO for the apprehension of the suspects in less than 24 hours.
