A motorbanca caught fire while transiting the vicinity waters of Barangay Rio Hondo in Zamboanga City on Thursday night, July 6, injuring five crew members.
Motorbanca “Lady Radia” had just departed Barangay Rio Hondo and was en route to Baluk-Baluk Island in Basilan when it was razed by fire around 7:50 p.m., the Philippine Coast Guard said.“The crew said a short circuit occurred while underway, which eventually caused a fire onboard,” the PCG said.
