AUTHORITIES caught in the act five persons having a pot session in an anti-drug operation in Basilan province, the police said Friday, January 3, 2025.The police did not released the identities of the suspected drug users, who were arrested in an abandoned house during the conduct of buy-bust operation on Thursday, January 2, in Colonia village, Lamitan City, Basilan.
Seized from the arrested suspects were a medium and a small-sized heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of substance believed to be shabu, P500 marked money, P920 cash of different denominations believed to be proceeds in the sale of illegal drugs, two cellular phones, a illegal drug paraphernalia.The suspects were detained while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them.
