CEBU CITY – Government anti-narcotics agents raided and dismantled a suspected drug den in Barangay Carreta here Wednesday, July 27.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas arrested the joint’s alleged maintainers – Jimboy Peñas, 25, and Elñino Rosal, 20. Three other persons were arrested after they were caught inside the drug den. They were Alfonso Pera, 37; John Paul M. Sambrano, 26; and Alladin Villegas, 44.PDEA 7 information officer Leia Alcantara said that seven drug dens in this city have been dismantled this month.In another anti-illegal drug operation, an ex-convict was arrested after selling suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer here Thursday, July 28.
Jesus Hermosora Belamia yielded packs of suspected shabu valued at P2.9 million in Barangay Mambaling. Police said Belamia was listed a high-value individual in the Region 7’s list of suspected drug peddlers.
