The Pagtibayin at Palaguin ang Pangkabuhayang Pilipino (4PS) party-list secured the top spot in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey on party-list voter preference, indicating a strong possibility of securing three seats in the House of Representatives. The survey also highlights the potential success of other prominent party-lists, including Duterte Youth and ACT-CIS.

The Pagtibayin at Palaguin ang Pangkabuhayang Pilipino (4PS) party-list emerged as the frontrunner in the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey on party-list voter preference. The Stratbase-SWS January 2025 Pre-Election Survey, released on Thursday, revealed that 11.80 percent of intended votes favored the 4PS when respondents were asked, 'If the elections were held today, who would you vote for party-list?' Duterte Youth secured the second position with 6.

05 percent, followed by Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) with 5.41 percent. The survey indicates that the top two party-lists are on track to guarantee three seats in the House of Representatives by garnering more than 6 percent of the votes. The third-placed party-list is guaranteed two seats with a vote share above 4 percent. Five other party-lists are projected to win one House seat each after securing at least 2 percent of the votes: Senior Citizens (3.43 percent), Ako Bicol (3.27 percent), Tingog (2.75 percent), FPJ Panday (2.45 percent), Bayanihan (2.45 percent), and Kabataan (2.11 percent).SWS reported that other party-list candidates garnered less than 2 percent of the intended votes, including PBBM (9th place, 1.80 percent), 1Pacman (10th, 1.67 percent), Agimat (11th, 1.61 percent), Malasakit@Bayanihan (12th, 1.58 percent), and EduAksyon (13th, 1.55 percent). The survey was conducted from January 17 to 20, with Stratbase approving the list of 155 names based on the initial ballot face template released by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for the May 12 elections. SWS employed face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters aged 18 and above nationwide, comprising 300 in Metro Manila, 900 in Balance Luzon (outside Metro Manila), 300 in the Visayas, and 300 in Mindanao. The sampling error margins were ±2.31 percent for national percentages, ±5.66 percent for Metro Manila, ±3.27 percent for Balance Luzon, and ±5.66 percent each for both the Visayas and Mindanao

COA Finds Over 60% of 4Ps Beneficiaries in 2020-2022 Not Listed in Program DatabaseCOA Finds Over 60% of 4Ps Beneficiaries in 2020-2022 Not Listed in Program DatabaseThe Commission on Audit (COA) revealed that over 60% of beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program (4Ps) from 2020 to 2022 received payments despite not being listed in the Listahanan 2 database, the program's official beneficiary list. The audit report attributed the discrepancy to various factors, including difficulty accessing remote communities, name variations between program records and the database, and beneficiary relocation. This finding raises concerns about the program's targeting accuracy and compliance with the 2019 4Ps law, which mandates automatic inclusion of vulnerable groups.
