Four foreigners were taken into custody by the police for alleged trespassing and lewd acts at a resort in Siargao.
According to the police report from the General Luna Municipal Police Station , two men and two women entered the Siargao Bleu Resort and Spa on the night of April 16.“This scandalous act was witnessed by her guest families with kids that make them felt insulted, outraged, shocked and traumatized," the police report said.
"Two minors that were present one vomited and the other one ran and got stumbled and she hit her head on the ground,” it added.Cases for trespassing, grave scandal, and violation of the provisions of Republic Act 7610 or the “Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act” have been prepared against them.
“We welcome everyone into our beautiful island of Siargao and here in General Luna, but we do not tolerate lewd, lustful, and scandalous acts in public, especially in the presence of children,” General Luna Mayor Sol Matugas said. She said the four foreigners did not represent the thousands of well-mannered and respectful visitors who enjoyed their visits and stay on the island.
