Despite pointed rocks and strong winds, not once did Benie think of giving up. Angel said he burst into tears when she told her that they had reached the top. Benie has long wanted to climb the highest mountain in the Philippines. It started even before he lost his sight due to complications of measles when he was 11 years old.
