The Supreme Court (SC) has announced the appointment of 38 new trial court judges by President Duterte.
The transmittal letters containing the names of the appointees were received last July 22 by the office of Chief Justice Lucas P. Bersamin.
Appointed were regional trial court Judges Marylou P. Meneses, Michael E. Vito, and Maria Lourdes C. Gutierrez for Gumaca, Quezon; Portia A. Martinez Panergo, Maria May S. Safranco Redor and Julieto F. Fabrero for Lucena City; Anna Francesca M. Limbo for Binagonan, Rizal; Gay Marie F. Lubigan Rafael, Joanne C. Gironella Gastrock, Aileen Liza M. David, Rey R. Lor, Marie Lynn J. Laborte Andal, and Edgardo R. Sison for Antipolo City; Nestor V. Gapuzan, Mary Joyce A.
Appointed municipal trial court judges were Shy Marie C. Sandoval for Ibaan, Batangas; Alvin B. Landicho for San Juan, Batangas; Cresencio A. Endozo for Tuy, Batangas; Roy E. Cheng for Naic, Cavite; Ma. Peaches C. Mesina Cruz for Rosario, Cavite; Gemma T. Briones Gerona for Alaminos, Laguna; John Paul A. Andamo for Bay, Laguna; and Dennis E. Aguila for Gasan, Marinduque.
Appointed judges for municipal trial court in cities were Nilo B. Barsaga Jr. for Tanauan City; Maricel A. Gain for Lipa City; Mary Jocelyn P. Lim and Rosette H. Abrenica for Bacoor City; Rex Q. Nerves for Imus City; and Maureen DR. Lontoc Inciong and Rhodalyne E. Dapul Artazo for Dasmarinas City. New judges appointed for municipal circuit trial court were Ryan R. Espinosa for Magdalena-Liliw-Majayjay towns in Laguna; EslieMarie B. Ramos Tejada for Nagcarlan-Rizal towns in Laguna; and John Andrew R. de Guzman for Pangil-Paete-Pakil towns in Laguna.
