There are now 31 people reported to have died after Typhoon OdettePH battered several areas in the Visayas and Mindanao, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) says

The NDRRMC said the four confirmed fatalities were from Iloilo, Guimaras, and Negros Occidental.

Meanwhile, one person is missing in San Fernando, Bukidnon. At least three people were also injured, Timbal added.Timbal earlier said in a government briefing that the typhoon damage assessment is still ongoing, with disaster response teams carrying out ground inspections in affected areas.
