A three-year old boy was killed when he was hit by a dump truck loaded with gravel and sand along Provincial Road in Barangay Rizal, Cauayan City Saturday afternoon, June 13.

According to Cauayan police, the dump truck, driven by Michael Mangaoang, was heading west towards Poblacion Cauayan, and was negotiating a descending portion of the road when it hit Wilfredo Aglugob, a resident of P3 Rizal, Cauayan City.

Mangaoang told police investigators that he tried to evade the victim who was then crossing the street, to no avail. The family of the victim was taken aback by the accident as they thought the boy was just playing at that time.Related Posts
