Three individuals were reportedly injured after five electric posts and three telco poles fell in Binondo, Manila on Thursday afternoon, August 3.

According to the police report, the incident occurred at around 1 p.m. at the corner of Quintin Paredes and Ongpin Streets. The Manila Police District identified the victims as Joffer Dolatre, 32, a resident of Binondo; John Michael Tigoy, 21, of Caloocan City; and Beverly Balledo, 25, of Navotas City.Based on the closed-circuit television footage, the bottom part of one of the posts suddenly broke causing it to fall, while the other posts were pulled down due to the wires connected to them.
