The Philippines on Wednesday logged 237 new COVID-19 cases, while the tally of active infections climbed to 9,354, according to the Department of Health (DOH).

Based on the DOH’s latest figures, new cases pushed the nationwide case count to 4,084,255, while the active tally rose to 9,354 from 9,321 on Wednesday.

The region with the highest number of cases in the last two weeks is the National Capital Region with 1,119 cases, followed by Davao Region with 396, Calabarzon with 357, Northern Mindanao with 268, and BARMM with 186.
