Mitsubishi Carmona one of the first to showcase 2024 Triton in the Philippines
After its online preview last October 20, 2023, Mitsubishi Motors Philippine Corporation has started to rotate the all-new 2024 Mitsubishi Triton at showrooms all around the country. One of the first was dealer partner Mitsubishi Carmona, so we decided to take a closer look.
While we've already seen the Strada...er Triton in official press pics, this is only the first time we've seen the all-new pickup in the metal, and boy does it look prime and ready for the competition. With a boxier and more aggressive look, the Triton looks mean while also featuring a more futuristic look which complements Mitsubishi's current design language.
The new truck is powered by a 2.4-liter turbo-diesel engine. The difference is that depending on the variant, it could come with either a regular turbo or a 2-stage turbocharger. The single turbo engine puts out 183 PS and 430 Nm of torque while the 2-stage turbo which is exclusive in the Athlete 4WD variant generates more with 204 PS and 470 Nm of torque.
