TWO weather systems are currently affecting Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical services Administration (Pagasa) said Saturday.
The weather agency said the northeast monsoon or Amihan is affecting most parts of Luzon while the shear line -- the point where hot and cold winds converge -- is affecting Central Luzon, bringing scattered rains and cloudy skies.
Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said the areas of Cagayan, Apayao, Batanes, Isabela, Kalinga, Calabarzon , Central Luzon and Metro Manila can expect cloudy skies, isolated rain showers and thunderstorm for the rest of the day.Meanwhile, fair weather is expected for the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao but also with chances of isolated and sudden rains.
